Museen und Ausstellungen
In the variety of events which are presented in Lübeck everyone - young and old, male or female -
is able to find the right activity to complete a perfect day.
By applying for the title "cultural capital 2010" Lübeck strikes its intention to be an important
international, cultural city.
The cultural program of the romantic Old Town has a big range: If you enjoy your time in the opera
or in the theatre by watching a play, listen to the sound of wonderful music or discover the world
of literature,….you can be sure that you will find something which is after your fancy.
But also the art of church construction is said to be a pillar of the culture of Lübeck. Promenade
through the magnificent churches of the Old Town and enjoy the sound of the organs and be impressed
by the fascinating architecture.
But the cultural program is not only for adults. There are special opportunities for the children
to widen their cultural horizon playfully. For example you can find a popular puppetry, a sculpture
world (seasonally out of ice or sand), an adventurous swimming pool, a open air theatre and much more.
Come to Lübeck and discover its diverse opportunities and its charm!
